Childcare

• Wilstead pre-school is based on the school site. Breakfast and After-School clubs for Wilstead School pupils open at 8am and end at 6pm.

• Holiday care is also available.

Parenting support

• Mrs Barbara Szczepanski is our Parent Support Assisstant. She is available in school on Tuesday mornings.

• Wilstead Pre-school offers quality childcare (see above).

• Mothers and toddlers groups are held on Wednesdays, 1.45 - 3.30 in the Evangelical Church hall and on Fridays, 9.45 - 11.45, in the Methodist church hall.

Lessons+

• Netball club is held weekly during the summer months and is free to pupils.

• French club is held weekly at a cost of £33 per term.

• Football and guitar clubs are held at lunchtimes.

• After-school clubs for street-dance, aerobics and golf cost approx 50p per session.

• Other interests for children include Wilstead Harriers FC, Brownies, Cubs, Karate and ballet.

Something for everyone

Next door to Wilstead Lower School is the Village Hall, a hive of activity throughout the year. It is also the base for the local drama group "The Wilstead Players" and the W.I. (tel: 01234 740935)

Other groups can be found on the Wilstead Community website including: P3 footpath group, flower and produce association, allotments, various church groups, and Bowls club.
