Childcare

• Each morning there is a pre-school breakfast facility

• Holywell has its own pupil well-being counselling service for its pupils. Pupils are recommended individually to take up this service and parents are involved in this process too.

Lessons+

The school offers its pupils a very wide range of enrichment activities.

• After school activities include: Art Club, Chef's Club, Key Stage 2 Science, Line Dancing, Street Dancing, and 'Rock School' for potential rock musicians and general fitness training.

• In addition, the school PE department coaches teams in a wide variety of sports - football, rugby, tag rugby, netball, hockey, cricket, basketball, rounders, badminton, volleyball, table tennis, athletics, cross country

• The Music Department runs a range of music groups out of lesson times - full orchestra, choir, samba band, and 'boomwhackers'

• In each of years 6, 7 and 8 there are opportunities for extended residential experiences - outdoor pursuits in Dorset, discovering sport, art and culture in and around Paris, history and geography in and around Swanage.

Holiday activities

• The school organises Bikeability courses in the summer holidays.

• There is a two week sports activities holiday school at Holywell for the first fortnight of the summer holiday (Pupils in local schools - years 4 - 7).

Something for everyone

The school's Multi-Use Games Area (MUGA) is available for community use - hiring through Cranfield Village Sports Association (currently used for football, netball
and tennis).
